Hello, I am Brooke!

I’m a Geospatial UX Designer and Data Engineer with a geography focus, passionate about using satellite data, location intelligence, and spatial analytics to solve meaningful problems—especially those that connect people and places. Currently supporting ground infrastructure and broadband deployment projects, my work blends scalable data engineering with thoughtful design to deliver impactful, actionable tools.

With 10+ years of experience across federal agencies (FEMA, CDC, Census Bureau) and humanitarian/global monitoring programs (UNICEF, ESA), I’ve designed and implemented end-to-end geospatial solutions that integrate cloud infrastructure, ETL pipelines, APIs, and spatial analysis at scale. From remote sensing imagery pipelines to public land access dashboards, I specialize in spatial data integration, visualization, and optimization—often in mission-critical, time-sensitive environments.

I bring a full-stack geospatial mindset:

Python, SQL, and JavaScript for data pipelines and services

Cloud tools like AWS, AGOL, and Google Cloud for scalable deployment

Geospatial platforms including ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, Planet API, and OpenStreetMap

End-user focus—I make spatial tools intuitive, accessible, and aligned with stakeholder needs.

Additionally, I have included a podcaster in my resume to further my passion for engaging in inquiry-based discussions with geospatial professionals in the field. I are currently residing in Seattle, WA with my Ausie Zara Jane. I derive immense pleasure from climbing and descending mountains, engaging in feng shui, engaging in yoga and weight training, and capturing the majesty of the Pacific Northwest through my lens and transforming it into oil painting projects.
